Hello out there in blog land...are you ready?? IT is almost ready!! One more coat of paint...yayyyyyyyyy. here you go then, piccies from Saturday and Sunday!!
This is the view as you walk in. Its Saturday evening and the base coat is going on. On the left is my workspace, ahead of you shelving for folders and scrap booking papers all 3 sizes
This is where I will be stamping and messing about so it will have a glass top for easy cleaning
Workstation on left and you can just see the shelves in the corner for keeping at hand all those bits that clutter the desk.. you can just see at the bottom right of the shelves a holder for my score board and scoring tool!
see the space in the corner? There's a lid, that lifts off and inside a bin for all the paper which will go to recycling. No wasted space here!! The bottom shelves for magazines (I have LOADS!) above that space for peel offs my ever growing collection of prima flowers and the shelf above for all my (as yet empty) scrap books!
My messy space showing a large 2 shelved cupboard for hiding bits...doors are yet to go on well they are yet to be made...lol
shelf above "messy" space" for embossing powder, inks, heat gun and other stuff
shelves to the right of messy bit where I will keep my cuttlebug and other stuff like that, brads, brads and more brads (stored in nicely decoratively altered coffee jars!)
pull out trays for storing stamps...small holes to use to pull them out...neat idea huh?
big cupboard below.
These are the shelves on the left of my workspace. There a corkboard just adjacent to this for my reminders!
Lots of paint!
Printer shelve above and space for my lovely pink TV underneath, the hole?? Thats for storing rolls of paper and also has a lid (with knobs on) Ill have to move the TV slightly when I want to get to it, but do I look bovvered??
All painted and looking A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!
So...there it is. I am actually overwhelmed and so proud of Mark and the amount of work he has put into it...and he gets the house back....lol. I haven't told him yet that I may take up ice sculpting in the kitchen!!
So Mark when you read this...thank you, thank you THANK YOU. I love you XX You're the best!! You are so clever!! XXX

DroooooooooooL! Paula! It's divine! I'll be moving in Wednesday next, ok? heeheehee. Mark you did a fabulous amazing gorgeous stunning job. My hubby can't hang a picture (poor soul) ;0) but he's clever & sweet, so I'll keep him anyway, hahaha. The white paint looks so lovely & the way you kept the wood look as well is just perfect. Love all of those shelves and nooks & crannies. Masterful planning! Paula I'm so excited for you. Can't wait to see pictures of it filled (with stuff bought on the new account at Create & C...)LOL & piccies of your creations. Enjoy your new space (and the hammock too!) ;0)
signed "Light green with envy in Vancouver" ;0) heehee
Paula, it is looking absolutely fabulous, I bet the organising and sorting is going to take a little while though!! lol Mark has done a wonderful job, you should hire him out ; )
Hugs
Karen
I was at the airport last night, so missed the great reveal! It looks fantastic Paula. Mark, you have done a great job. The only mistake I can see is that you haven't provided a brewing up station, so you will have to provide butler service when madam wants a cuppa....LOL
Oh Paula.. Am green with envy... It is fabulous.. Enjoy.. post some pics of it in messy state.. lol
Totty,, You must stop adding to my toils,, once all has been top coated and then given a quick 2nd coat, &&&&&&&&& then once hardened a bit, I still have the electrics to put in.... even without a tea station,, at least I will be able to find the kettle in the kitchen as it wont be covered by stick-ons and scrap books......
Thanks for the kind words ladies,, but no applause,,, £10 notes are the going tender for model kits here... :o)))))))
When it is finished, I think Paula should buy you a Teasmaid....
Totty...I AM his Teasmaid...lol
Black tights and a little white pinny?
That just goes to show you Totty just how good her imaginative mind is...... Paula a teas maid????????
Hmmmmmmm 2 forms of hope,,, 1 is called Bob hope and the other is No hope........ I think the latter speaks louder,,,,
What a fantastic area and wonderful husband you have. All I would have added is a small sink to wash any inks and glues off my hands. And, of course, the coffeepot :-) What
Sink = water = capacity for leeks = Upset card maker... Water in sink in house = short walk ( as does kettle and tea. ) = exercise = good for Paulas health... You must remember I have to think of Paulas health when shes out crafting burning 2 calories a day :o))))))))))
A valid point; we have to think of Paula's health, so maybe an outside ablutions area? A bucket with a lid could come in handy in all sorts of situations...
