Yeah yeah, I know its been eons since I posted...not much to say, really, well actually thats not quite true as I have been doing heaps, so I can tell you all about it! WEll, last weekend went to see Paul, he looks great and is not in the least bit faised about his op. I have decided to respect hs wishes and leave him till Saturday till I see him, much as it hurts me, but I do know how he is thinking so..... Anyhow he cooked us a fabulous meal, lasagne, nicest Ive ever tasted!! He had to work in the afternoon, so didnt stay as long as I would have liked. Before that we went to visit mum, she looked really tired, find it hard to see her looking old and frail..but thats life, she is in good spirits though. Didnt stay long as we had to get to paul's so another flying visit. She doesnt like lasagne, so didnt come...lol

After that went to see my niece, Liann, had a lovely couple of hours with her looking through old pics and also gave her a load of clothes, so she is well happy!!

I'm off work right now, started off as a cold and now my whole body aches, and I have a mega headache so wont be here long. I tried to make some cards, but only got 12 done, and they are so basic..but hey its the thought that counts!

Had to cancel hospital appt cos I felt crook, and also they have a winter sickness bug going around the hospital, and I don't want that! I know I have some tiny kidney stones, which is why my back is hurting so much :(

watched C & C earlier, love the funky hand stuff, I think Anice did really well for her first go, especially as her first show was cancelled at the very last minute last month!!

The early bird...

is shattered...lol Woke up at 3.30, Mark was getting ready for work and although hes very good and quiet, something just woke me..just as well cos he couldn't find the top to his flask, but that was because he was having a a man's look...lol,,,yes, you guessed, I found it. Been having weird dreams and some pretty morbid thoughts...cant get them out of my head, maybe its the meds I'm on? Actually feel quite rough this last couple of days, been getting some bad pains and my weight seems to be creeping up at a rate of knots...I did have a kidney scan yesterday, and will get the results in 2 weeks when I go back to the clinic.

Well, I guess I best get on and get ready for work, now Ive had my coffee...oh and my hair is now sitting on my shoulders!!! Its a long slog but I am bound and determined to grow it and keep growing it, mainly so I can wear it up so it looks short!! Hey! Where's the logic!!

AWOL

Been ages since Ive had a good blogging session!! You know how it is, you get home the usual stuff, cooking, opening junk mail, lol then change and before you know it, its bedtime. A quick run through emails and then sleep.

Little bit worried about my hospital appointment tomorrow, Ive been getting some pains in the kidney area that are not unlike the ones I had when I had kidney stones, I hope I dont have one, cos god knows where they are coming from.

Oh did get some boots from ebay today, I got a real bargain £30 for leather uppers and soles, gorgeous burgundy colour, RRP of £135. Also some lovely grey ones for about £4!! Must remember to do the feedback thing. Ive had a bit of an ebay splurge even though Im on a bOB but I have run out of clothes that fit due to the fact I feel bloated all the time. In fact, 3 black sacks full of pretty decent clothes, some brand new, that I will be passing over to my lovely niece. Cant remember what else is coming apart from a pair of black boots which cost me around £3!!

Can you believe it..FIREWORKS going off still..and its nearly 9 oclock!! Marks just gone running off to take pics...Ill see if I can upload them later.

Ok, well hopefully Ill be able to catch up on the blogs Im checking out ..yes that means you Roz and Toots!!

Back again

Just a quickie cos I'm tired and have to be up early for work tomorrow!!

Holiday was ok, lot of travelling around and lots of pics taken,,,will show later. Day 1 we went to visit marks dad on the way down, hmmm more on that later. Then we went to Marks sister's dawn to drop the two boys off for the night as she was taking them to a carnival, then bowling and would drop them off at other sis Kylie's on Sunday. We got to cottage finally about 8 8.30 that evening. Smelt a bit fusty, but all in all not too bad, plenty of space, nice and warm and with just about everything you would need for a week,,,apart from food which we had picked up earlier. Looe is a very pretty chocolate box lid town!

Froze me toze this morning!

Golly gosh it was cold!!! Have to get my winter warmers out soon me thinks!!

Anyhow, Ive only been and gone and hurt my back, man does it hurt!! I'm in for a fun filled action packed week away..NOT

Ho, hum, not got much to say today, on the basis, Ive done nowt!! Work is well...work and home...is where my heart is. I am bound and determined to write SOMETHING every day (connection allowing) so I know where Ive been and what Ive done, cos guarantee, i will forget it tomorrow!

Been really busy at work, its payroll day again (yes Roz, i am doing the payroll AGAIN!!). Haven't had a lunch break yet so I'm going to grab a coffee and have a sandwich in a minute while my reports are running off

Not sure if Mark will make it home tonight, I hope so, not only do I want to see him (aahhhhh) but need the suitcases down from loft!! I really ought to start packing but am really not looking forward to this holiday one little bit. Think I am just really tired

Roz has sent me through some stuff to download on Pando later so that should be good. I also need to get stuff off laptop and on to disc before I clog this one up! I can do that while I'm away. Am I repeating myself? Think Ive said this before, no doubt someone will tell me...

Just been listening to Chris Moyles again, they are switching off analogue TV from today so that's it for terrestrial TV...no more portable TV for Owen then!! Wonder how we get round that one!!

well, nearly 4,.15 so best start packing up...thank god its Thursday tomorrow, I'm frazzled...catch you later!

I just have no idea about this digi scrapping thing. I do not understand the lingo AT ALL so I GIVE UP!! lol

LESS TIME READING, MORE TIME WRITING!

Note to self as above. The trouble with me is I am so easily sidetracked, hence I am writing this at work when I should be doing the credit card accounts! I start everything with the best of intentions and then lose momentum. I actually thought about starting this about 2 hours ago, but started reading other blogs and then the links in the blogs lead me elsewhere and in fact I have been having a lovely little tour around planet Internet! Good job its not pay per minute here anymore, Id be skint!! Which reminds me, when I got really into the net, my phone bill for ONE MONTH...yes I did say ONE MONTH!!! Was over £800. I think I'm still paying it even though it was about ten years ago

Now on my journey round the WWW I noticed that most blogs were bright, cheerful, adorned with all sorts of pics and prose, and on arriving back at mine, figured it a little drab. I will remedy this as soon as I figure out how!!

Ok, nuffs enough, back to work young lady (I wish!!) and BBL so TTYL!!

I dont like Mondays!!

had a real B**** of a day today!! Been so busy I didnt notice it was lunch time until nearly 3!! LOL

Mark is on another night out so I have just been chillin and watching create and crap. Not much to tell you other than that Roz!! LOL

I am going to take my lap top away and try my hand at some simple digi layouts, I have downloaded a couple of kits onto it so I can have a play. DOnt want too much to look at right now as I would just get confused!

My hair is now geting really long and messy but I am going to stick with it unril the New Year and then make a decision I would send a pic but the only one I have makes me look like I have some dreaded illness...so youll have to wait!

Nowt else to say really

health check...upset tummy and feel really tired kidneys are hurting but it could be that Ive been sitting awkwardly today...dunno...have to wait and see what CT scan shows...fingers crossed, hate feeling like this as it slows me down :( hey ho...others are a lot worse off than me!!

Sunday Evening

I havent done ANYTHING today apart from washing and putting some 3d thingies together. I slept for a while this afternoon, cooked dinner for Mark and kids, I didnt have any, and then just sat and watched Tv in the evening after making the sarnies.

Roz, friend of mine, if you read this...where exactly do I start on this digi scrapping lark?? Its information overload on the web! I am going to transger a load of piccies onto new laptop later so at least I will have something to digi scrap with!! LOL


OH by the way, got the camera on Friday. Its pretty good for £80 odd. Just need a case etc
which reminds me, best sign off and order them! LOL

One of those weeks

Its been one of those weeks where I have beeen doing my headless chicken routine, and got nothing done. Woke up on Satursday with a mega headache and still got it. Anyway, had to sort out all teh washing etc etc and got it all done, if I had any sense I would do one load a night, but no....

Mark didn't get home until about 6 am on Saturday as he ran out of driving hours somewhere near the M25 I think. That's 3 nights out hes had this week...average his hourly rate out and its about 1.50!!

On a more positive not, I did manage to get 3 cards made, including one for Marks ex dragon in law! She pad us a flying visit on Saturday and My head was banging after she left, she is not a quiet lady!

Seem to be getting on better with the kids lately, I'm not sure if its cos I amnow on HRT and don't hate everyone, or I am just accepting the fact that we all make mistakes (long long stories!!)

Its only 7.30 on Sunday, but am a bit loathe to go back to bed as sometimes that makes me feel worse. Ive already but some washing out, some in dryer and the final load (for today!) in the washing machine. The only good thing about it is I love the smell of Daz (hoping if I mention the name Ill get a years free supply...lol) Biggest drawback????the dreaded ironing!

I am going to try to master PSP when Im on holiday, have fiddled about with it a bit, but need to concentrate more. I will downlaod a couple of tubes, arm myself with PSP for dummies and see how I get on. I dont think I really want to do the sheets as there are so many excellent ones ocming through, but the digi scrapping...Ive seen what a couple of my friensd have done and its amazing.

My lovely hubby is snuggled up in bed and looks very cute and cuddly this morning, bless him. Im so glad hes not as stressedd as he was a few weeks ago, lets hope it stays that way.

Healthwise - headache and still that nagging pain in the right side...have to wait and see!

Well, I overslept! Got up at 6.45...I have to leave at 7.15, so obviously after a lot of pontificating i.e. showering and makeup I finally left at 7.30, not bad going, but I look like ***** unfortunately I had slept with my face on my hand so I look like Ive been well slapped about! God knows what to day will bring, I'm tired, I'm hungry and I'm going to be busy! Still, its only until 1 today so I can have a nap this afternoon...I live in hope, actually I really have to tidy my bedroom...watch this space!!

Its nearly mid day and I'm shattered. Got to go to the bank after work, then home for a nap. You see I did tell you my life is boring! I am trying to decide what to do next, post invoices (on the computer) or post invoices (in the post) decisions decisions...I really ought to start the payroll but cant get motivated at all.

I really need to start doing my Christmas cards, or at least have a look through my stuff to see what i am going to do this year. There's so much I want to do...Chescas prom scrap book, Hayley and John's wedding scrap book, my scrap book one for Paul, one for Liann, one for Catherine...LOL Oh and one for Reece for Claire!! Im going to have to speak to Roz and get her to give me lessons on digi scrapping so that might be the best way to go, we'll see...which reminds me, have to remind Jane and Liann about the photos...Ill do that now while I think about it!

OK, back to work..its only for an hour.

Ok, just had a quick chat with my very very lovely niece and asked her about photos etc. So hopefully we can get started on that one!! I am going to try and persuade her to do a blog too, like a dear diary thingy so she can write what she likes and might make her feel better..

oh yeah, CSA rang and nothing has changed...wont put too much here cos you never know who might be looking!! Needless to say the conclusion wasn't satisfactory, but we have to deal with it.

Why?? Why do this blog I mean?? Well, yesterday I went to the hospital for an appointment and was asked all sorts of questions, like when was this diagnosed, when did you have that scan, blah blah and I had no idea!! So, I thought Id do this and make notes about hospitals visits as I go along...much more fun!

Roz, you can add me to your blog thingy if you like and keep nagging me to fill it in!!

Right hospital trip yesterday! Went to QE Hospital in Kings Lynn to see a Doctor Gunda. Usual weigh in and sample stuff..anyway blood pressure was 140/90 which was quite high for me! had a blood test and a CT scan also. Got to go back in 6 weeks but have to have another type of scan first...I THINK, not sure if that was what I had yesterday or not. Oh well, no doubt it will all fall into place.

Mark got stuck out again last night, so I was going to have an early night. Fran came around to do homework and we sat chatting till about 9.30 then by the time I got to bed it was 10.30. Watched the pride of Great Britain awards and had to wipe away a few tears, what inspirational people they were!! Megan Blunt will go far! What a charming, grounded and selfless young lady!

I am way behind at work today so shouldnt actually be doing this, but hey ho...lol I need to leave at 3 but probably wont now. Might write more later if anything interesting or exciting happens, but I doubt it!!

Well, I got home early, mark was home which was nice! Didn't get what I wanted done, felt totally demotivated again, just want to sleep!! Now I'm just going to bed. I think we are all on one computer or another tonight, Marks on PC and Owen is doing something on Bebo on the other laptop which is so slow I would still be typing this tomorrow if I was using it.

I'm so happy I am only working until 1 tomorrow. I get so stressed out when Chris is on holiday! GOD Anita is on holiday for week now so Ill be doing THREE jobs next week.

Well dear reader (well m e...lol should I say dear diary) no doubt you Will feel my wrath next week as I struggle to keep sane and keep up. A weeks holiday in Cornwall is not the answer, well...it could be, but ya know...
