Big Reveal

Hello out there in blog land...are you ready?? IT is almost ready!! One more coat of paint...yayyyyyyyyy. here you go then, piccies from Saturday and Sunday!!




This is the view as you walk in. Its Saturday evening and the base coat is going on. On the left is my workspace, ahead of you shelving for folders and scrap booking papers all 3 sizes


This is where I will be stamping and messing about so it will have a glass top for easy cleaning


Workstation on left and you can just see the shelves in the corner for keeping at hand all those bits that clutter the desk.. you can just see at the bottom right of the shelves a holder for my score board and scoring tool!



see the space in the corner? There's a lid, that lifts off and inside a bin for all the paper which will go to recycling. No wasted space here!! The bottom shelves for magazines (I have LOADS!) above that space for peel offs my ever growing collection of prima flowers and the shelf above for all my (as yet empty) scrap books!

These are the shelves on the left of my workspace. There a corkboard just adjacent to this for my reminders!

Printer shelve above and space for my lovely pink TV underneath, the hole?? Thats for storing rolls of paper and also has a lid (with knobs on) Ill have to move the TV slightly when I want to get to it, but do I look bovvered??

So...there it is. I am actually overwhelmed and so proud of Mark and the amount of work he has put into it...and he gets the house back....lol. I haven't told him yet that I may take up ice sculpting in the kitchen!!

a few pics

Hi all

Some new piccies for you, some of my new craft studio (it is no longer a shed!) and some of my new pets JT and TJ. If you can guess why they are so named, then you are very clever indeed! They have just flown in from sunny Spain, and are pretty well acclimatised now, spending their time sitting on their perch canoodling!



A bit wary, having a good look round, look a bit nervous, but they'll soon settle in.




Seems to have heard a noise, maybe the soup dragon or the kettle??





Ahhhh, no then, thats what we like to do best, canoodling with each other....all together now...ahhhhhhhhh


A new broom sweeps the new craft studio. Just inside the door, the beginnings of a cupboard to store...goodies!!


On the other side of the workspace, custom built shelves for A4 and A5 paper.



The beginnings of another cupboard and more shelves for scrapbooking paper. Oh and the bit in the corner?? The hatch lifts off so I can store rolls of paper in there..clever huh??



Another workspace, where I can do my stamping etc. Mark has christened this my "messy" space (as in inky and glittery) It also means that I can have a friend over to play!!

More shelves, well, these are actually pull out trays for my stamps and inks! Storage underneath

Shed update and more!!

Hellllo

Well finally got some pics of my shed...I mean craft studio uploaded to share with you all..as you can see, Mark is going great guns and I have taken these pics from various parts inside the shed. The legs belong to him...HONEST!!

All the walls and roof have been lined and then another wall put up to give a bit more protection etc.

The frame for the worktop etc on the pther side, Mark calls it the messy bit where I will be stamping etc...

Theres a lot more done now so Ill take more piccies tomorrow!!

This is a wedding card I made for someones next door neighbour's aunt's uncle's sister's wedding...it should be upright hearts going down the middle but I didnt get the angle right!

I did make some more but ran out of room on my camera and had to get them given out to various recipients!!

WEll thats my blog for tonight, Ive had awful problems formatting and its taken FOREVER and my hubby needs a cuppa!!

Tomorrow I will show you the most gorgeous gift I got from our Tootsy!!

Another post from the old MG

Gosh sounds like I was whinging in my last post!! I was looking at Google analyticals to see my stats and there were none. I know you ladies visit regularly, as I do yours too, I love to read them, and again, I dont post comments often, but you are all in my reader and its great to keep up with your lives. Mine is pretty slow at the mo...Ive been feeling really rough since my kidney stone blasting and have been leaving work early as I am shattered by lunch time (a bit like my stones...lol) havent done an awful lot. Mark has been busy in the shed and its coming along very well, although a long way from finished yet. WE had visitors all over the weekend, which was nice. Marks sister, her other half and his two kiddies. Friday night our friends Hayley and John came over for a meal for my birthday on Friday, but Hayley wasnt well either..cos.......she had a baby on Sunday!!!! He wasnt due until the end of the month and is in Special Care as he had a few problems, but is thriving now, so fingers crossed. I havent seen him yet, but hayley rings most days with his progress and we are hoping to see them tonight. I dont know his name yet, which has messed up my card idea for now....lol I think Alfie is going to be the final choice and Joshua as a second name. I am buying him a tree as a pressie (joshua's tree??) as he has had everything else from everyone else!! Im getting a japanese acer to commemorate his birth. I best get on with some work. I am exhausted already so cant see me staying much beyong lunch time...adios for now!!

AWOL

Blimey, not been here for a week...just havent felt up to it, but as I have just checked my visitor thingy, no one visits me anyway!!

Well the shed is coming along very nicely, Mark is putting everything into it.

I am still suffering so I am going home in a mo...There you go, my life in 3 and half sentences!!

Shed Blog Part 2 Day 4

Mark has had a day off from shed renovating today, bless him, he hasnt stopped working on it since Saturday morning.

had a rough day today, feeling really groggy still, but back to work tomorrow. Actually got round to watching memoirs of a geisha today...lovely film. I did doze off half way through,, but only cos I was lying down, and really tired!!

Another short n sweet one, so nighty night for now!!
